This year is a year of discoveries and new experiences for me. I’ve been teaching English for more than five years but never this far from my country or to so many students. I’m still getting used to the new culture, new atmosphere, new city – which is fifteen times the size of my native city! – and I’ve yet to see, adapt to the new place and understand more – month by month. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the local people, their hospitality does strike a chord with one’s heart, for indeed everybody is very helpful and cheerful. Anqing Foreign Language School is a great place for children to study and to develop and improve their knowledge of the English language which creates a causeway between nations, countries, continents. I sincerely hope that this is a really propitious time for me to make my own contribution and share my knowledge with people here.
